Rod

Rod was born in Montreal and through a series of moves spent most of his youth living in a family headed by a Vancouver Stock Exchange financier/promoter Mart Gibbeson. This life-style encouraged an interest in mining exploration which lead to a mining diploma from the B.C. Institute of Technology in 1971. From there Rod was part of a group that discovered the famous 'Afton' native copper mine near Kamloops B.C.

After seeing Afton progress through to production, Rod tried his hand in business product development and sales before completing the B.C. Securities Course and joining Canaccord Capital in Vancouver as an investment advisor in 1986; where he remains today. Rod likes to think he takes a broad view of the investment industry while feeling most comfortable evaluating mineral resource projects.

Rods other interests include his children Jennifer and Russell as well as outdoor activities such as golf, hiking, bicycling, photography and skiing.

Manjeet

Manjeet was born in Vancouver and has lived most of her life in the Lower Mainland. She joined Canaccord in the summer of 2007. She looks after the back office part of the business, and once licensed she will also assist with trades.

Manjeet s background is in accounting and she is currently attending UBC to complete her degree so that she may go on to get her designation as a CGA. She is also looking forward to starting her Canadian Securities Course (CSC) to become a licensed assistant.

Manjeet has a very diverse set of interests. She loves the outdoors, playing soccer, traveling, baking, reading and spending time with family and friends.
